Like my previous 2013 senior portrait session in Raleigh, the weather required us to reschedule Aby’s senior portrait session. No matter though, we had a wonderful time taking photos in fields, flowers and trees around Cary and Raleigh. Aby’s senior portrait session was a lot of fun and she had some creative and fun ideas for her photos. Great job Aby!

Even though the weather had other plans for my 2013 high school senior portrait sessions, I was finally able to photograph my first high school senior of the class of 2013! Between Kjersti and my other few seniors scheduled in May, I had to reschedule about 9 senior portrait session because of the weather! No problem though and ended up with a perfect day, much cooler than when I photographed her sister a few years ago when she was a senior, for senior portrait photography. Kjersti is a wonderful dancer and her beauty and gracefulness surely showed through in her photo session! After growing up with my sister dancing, I’ve always found it interesting how dancers, even when they are just walking, seem to have no wasted movements and look so graceful even when they are just walking! It was a perfect portrait session to start out my 2013 high school senior portrait sessions and I could say more, but theses senior portraits say it for me!

Ben opted for a senior portrait session part in studio and part on location, both of which turned out awesome. Once again, I was lucky to photograph a high school senior guy that is comfortable and confident infront of the camera. Great job Ben!

Garrett continued the streak of high school senior guys that do much better infront of the camera than I do. He is a very easy going, which made him look very natural in his senior portraits. Also, I got to learn a little more about one of the top places on my list I wanna go to, the Galapagos Islands where their family had the chance to visit this summer (yes, I’m super jealous)!

Averett was another senior guy that seemed to be very comfortable infront of the camera. Just minutes into the session he was changing up smiles with serious with looking at me and looking away almost as if he could read my mind or just could anticipate what I wanted him to do during his senior portrait session.

Whenever I photograph guys for their senior portraits, I always worry that they will be like me infront of the camera and be awkward. Didn’t have to worry at all for Aaron! No matter what I asked of him during his senior portrait session, he stayed cool, calm and comfortable! Great job Aaron!

And just like that, high senior photography has taken over my life again! I can’t believe it is already been a year since last high school senior season. I’ve gotten a little behind on blog posts but more high school seniors will be coming very soon. Keenan did a great job in the studio and I enjoyed getting to know him as something other than a great pitcher for the baseball team. Thanks Keenan! The title pretty much says it all! High school seniors in Cary, Raleigh, Apex and surrounding areas, book any senior portrait session by August 10th and you will get a $50 print credit for free! Who doesn’t like free stuff? Senior portrait session does not have to be before August 10th, you just have to schedule your senior portrait session by then.
