Originally from North Carolina, Evan Pike graduated from the University of Miami, Fl, in 2005 with a BS in Visual Communications, having studied the convergence of photojournalism, web, multimeda, video and audio.

His main passion is sports photography but after spending a semester abroad at Jyochi Daigaku (Sophia University), in Tokyo, he found a new passion for photographing Japan and it's people.
